need a pattern.

I have this skein of Noro Taiyo sock yarn. I adore the colours, but don't know what to do with it. I don't think I want socks of it - I'd rather see it more, rahter than hide it under pants. But a shawl or scarf isn't grabbing me. Anyone have any ideas?

Oh, and no hats. Unless it's a baseball cap or a Tilley, I don't like wearing hats. And as much as I give stuff away, I think I want to keep this.

  1. I have a shawl called Bermuda by Ilga Leja on my needles right now using this yarn. The colours are bright and cheery, and just the thing to make me think Spring is here. The yarn is a bit scratchy, but will soften after a good soak. It is a fun knit with short rows.
    Happy Spring!

  2. Oh such a challenge. The brain is blank at the moment, but I will keep watch in my knitting travels.

  3. Front of a vest of some sort? Worked with a coordinating yarn? Think something with a wide band of colour around the neck a a something styled like the Minimalist cardigan? Plain rusty orange, or green or brown or even cream yarn to make the body?

  4. I also was going to suggest weaving with it!
